All habits are subconscious actions so its very hard to break them at a conscious level. Anyone who has a bad habit know they have it but just find it very hard to stop. Hypnotherapy is perfect to help you with this because it works at the subconscious level, where the habit is.
 
Once we find out the subconscious "role" the habit has then we are able to negotiate with that part of your mind which has created these negative actions. (This part of the therapy is called parts therapy).
 
 
Once we have agreement with the habit part we can then future pace.
 
What Is Future Pacing?
 
Future pacing is an NLP technique. NLP stands for neuro-linguistic programming and helps you to create new habits of behaviour. Within the hypnotic state I ask you to go forward in time to where your particular habit may occur. You are then asked to see yourself reacting and behaving in a new positive way. You then play these images time and time again through your mind until you notice a change in how you feel about the situation. You will now have created a new habit of behaviour. Your subconscious mind, from this point forward, will always make your conscious mind aware that its about to happen so you will be able to ensure it doesn't.
 
Like all habits they need to be practised to take hold. When your subconscious mind keeps seeing this new habit of behaviour (In the hypnotic state), it will help to change how you may have previously reacted. It does this because it accepts these new images you have created. Images which you have created for your well being.
 
 
How Many Sessions Will Be Required?
 
For the very basic of habits, generally speaking 2-3 sessions should only be required.
 
For clients who show signs of anxiety attached to their habit then hypnoanalysis may be required before the habit can be removed. This would require further sessions.
 
 
How Much Will It Cost?

Each session can last upto one and a half hours and are generally conducted on a weekly basis.
