Everyone gets afraid from time to time. For some of us though, certain fears can dominate our thinking and control portions of our lives. The fear or phobia may have arisen as the result of a traumatic experience, or slowly crept into our lives over a period of time. It's even possible that the root cause or beginning of its existence is unknown to us, but the reality of it is present in our daily lives. Whatever the reason, these fears or phobias can seriously impact the quality of your life.
When we are faced with our biggest fears we experience tremendous anxiety. Our breathing becomes more rapid as our pulse quickens and our muscles tense up. We may try to shut out whatever it is by closing our eyes, running away or by hiding. Avoidance though, is the way in which most of us prefer to deal with our fears or phobia's.

Hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy helps to change how your subconscious mind has been taught to react to a situation. Just as your subconscious mind has learned to fear something, it too can learn how not to be fearful. Before you can start to free yourself of your present symptoms the underlying cause needs to be established and analised. Because the originating event impacted on you in such a strong way these emotions need to be released so they do not have a role to play anymore.
Once the emotional impact has been dealt with it is now time to break the habit. YES...THE HABIT!. The reaction to the situations which now affect your life have been created over time and the intensity of the reaction has become stronger.

What is future pacing?
NLP stands for neuro-linguistic programming and helps you to create new habits of behaviour. Within the hypnotic state I ask you to go forward in time to a situation which would previously have caused panic and anxiety. You are then asked to see yourself reacting and behaving in a new positive way. You then play these images time and time again through your mind until you notice a change in how you feel about the situation. Your anxiety levels will drop and you will now have created a new habit of behaviour.
Like all habits they need to be practised to take hold. When your subconscious mind keeps seeing this new habit of behaviour (In the hypnotic state), it will help to change how you may have previously reacted. It does this because it accepts these new images you have created. Images which you have created for your well being.
Cognitive behavioural therapy helps you to change your negative dysfunctional thoughts and emotions towards your irrational fear. This therapy is very effective because it helps you to challenge your negative thinking. This negative thinking leads to negative actions. Cognitive Bahavioural Therapy helps you create positive functional thoughts, emotions and actions.
All fears and phobias are NOT medical conditions, they are learned subconscious actions. Once we deal with the problem at this subconscious level then you will be free from the anxiety and panic you may currently experience.
How Much Does It Cost?
To free yourself from your present symptoms, all consultations at the Life-Change Hypnotherapy Clinic are priced at just £60 per session and includes free re-inforcement hypnotherapy recordings for you to listen to at home which further enhances your desire to succeed. Each session can last upto one and a half hours and are generally conducted on a weekly basis.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
As each clients symptoms are individual, then so is the therapy provided. The simpler conditions should only need 2-3 sessions. The more complex issues with deep rooted anxiety will require a few more. This is one reason why I offer the free initial consultation, to fully understand your condition so I can give a better idea on the treatment to embark on.
Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy alone are very effective methods of therapy to enable change but when put together they become very powerful. You can expect rapid change in just a few hours of therapy.
